CareerSource Broward (CSBD)

To meet the demand for skilled employees in all industries, CSBD helps businesses in Dania Beach and the greater Fort Lauderdale are to find well-trained, highly qualified employees. CSBD can save businesses “Money – Energy – Time” by listing positions in Employ Florida Marketplace, pre-screening and interviewing applicants; and providing employers with labor market information. CSBD can identify specific financial incentives that may be available when certain job candidates are hired.

BCPS is the sixth-largest school district in the nation. The district is Florida’s first fully accredited school system with +270,000 students and nearly 175,000 adult students, representing 204 countries and 191 languages. In addition to its core services, the Florida SBDC also offers specialized services to qualifying companies, including capital access, market growth, government contracting, international trade, business continuation, cybersecurity, disaster planning and recovery, and more.

SBA is a federal government agency established to bolster and promote the economy by providing assistance to small businesses. One of the largest functions of the SBA is the provision of counseling to aid individuals trying to start and grow businesses. As the challenge of operating and growing a small business becomes increasingly complex, the Jim Moran Institute remains a source of expertise and executive education. For this reason, our focus is on assisting businesses with a minimum of five employees and that have been in business for at least three years for little to no cost.
